1 pumpkin, about 23cm in diameter and about 12cm high
250 ml coconut milk
150 gr of palm sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
a pinch of salt
1 pandan leaf

Cut a disc of about 7cm in diameter from the top of the pumpkin and clean out the pumpkin of it’s seed and pulp.
Mix the coconut milk, sugar, salt and eggs and add the sliced pandan leaf. Put the mixture into the pumpkin. Steam in a large pot for some 2 hours. Use a knitting needle to test if the pumpkin is done. Let the pumpkin cool off and cut into pieces.
After steaming don’t forget to remove the pandan leaf.
