200 gr diced beef
2 tbsp red curry
2 tbsp tamarind juice
1 can coconut milk
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp fish sauce
100 gr of peanuts, chopped to bits
4 fresh lemon leaves, thinly sliced
a wok

Get the following at a well-stocked Asian grocery store:
- red curry
- tamarind juice, or make it yourself from some tamarind fruit
- fish sauce, or Nam Pla: the Vietnamese version
- fresh lemon leaves
Fry the beef in the wok and set aside and keep warm. Stir-fry the red curry for a minute or two, add the other ingredients, adding the beef last. Heat through and serve.
